Even though this was was a short work week for me, I feel like a crammed 10 days of work into 3! Coming back from vacation time is always the extreme opposite of vacation: super busy and stressful. Not fun. Either way, I’m grateful for the days I had off and it was a good week. Here are my Favs:

Favorite Verse

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

-1 Corinthians 13:4-8

I’m all about love this week! I think my cousin’s wedding on Monday got me in the mood. These are very popular verses that I see and hear all the time but I don’t always live by. It seems that we hurt the ones we love the most. I can be kind and pleasant to strangers but easily angered when Jeff forgets to do something around the house. I can be patient with my coworkers but sometimes envious and selfish with family. I think that these words are so important to live by because they teach people to be a positive light in this world. I’m going to work on being patient, loving and kind all of the time, towards everyone, no matter what I’m feeling. Love conquers all!

Do This, Instead by The Girl Who Loved To Write

First of all, this is one of my favorite blogs. Chelsea is such a great writer and her posts are so meaningful. Definitely one of the people that inspired me to start blogging.

This post goes right along with my goal of being more loving and kind. There are many times I could just choose to be more positive and create my own happiness. It’s easy to let emotions rule your actions and ruin your day but why not choose to do something better instead? She is right, making simple choices could lead to a much happier life.

Favorite Whaaaat Moment

This week I watched the movie Aloha with my Mom. Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams and Emma Stone equals one heck of a romantic comedy, right? WRONG. Unless you have a deep understanding of Hawaiian politics, space treaties and missile launch sequences, I don’t recommend this movie. We were both confused and disappointed. We did have fun mother/daughter bonding over wine and discussing how it is actually possible for Rachel McAdams to make a movie I don’t like. Better luck next time, Rach.

Favorite Workout

Halloween is coming! Which means I need to get fit, fast. No more dipping into the candy bowl at work and I need to focus on my workouts which I’ve been slacking on since Fall started. I recently pinned this ab workout. I love that it’s quick, the moves aren’t complicated and it provides me with Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced positions.

Favorite Recipe

This Potato and Sausage Hash is one of my favorite recipes. I love that you can make it fairly often if you mix it up and use different kinds of sausage or potatoes. I made it this week with Chicken Andouille Sausage and red potatoes. It was delish!

That’s it for my week, Happy Weekending!

    • LOL it was so bad! There were times I was thinking is this a joke or did they seriously make this movie? I’m glad we’re not the only wants who thought it was terrible 🙂
