Weekending: Toddler Parties and Tailgating

I know I say this every week, but how is it Monday already???

I had another eventful weekend, so at least I’m going into the work week with lots of happy vibes from all of the good times had!

Friday night, I went to Chuck E. Cheese’s for this little man’s 3rd birthday.

I had a blast playing games with these kiddos that I absolutely love. My crazy cousin has four little ones and I go by Aunt Jackie. Let’s just say, I’m not a regular aunt, I’m a cool aunt 🙂

Saturday was the UCF Homecoming game and even though we are having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad season I was excited to tailgate because it’s the only game we could make it to this year. I was a little bummed it was a noon game and early tailgate but we had mimosas and french toast off the grill. It turned out great! Sadly, we got killed on the football field…

Sunday, after recovering from the game, I had a date with my sisters and a friend at All Fired Up. It’s a really neat pottery painting place in Winter Park. They have a bunch of different pieces to choose from, you paint it and then you pick it up a week later after they glaze and fire it for you. They allow you to bring food and drinks in while you paint, so you can bring your favorite takeout or even a bottle of wine! It makes for a great girls night or date night.

I was looking for something Fall-themed to paint but they only had special Halloween and Christmas stuff (among the pieces that are there year round)…nothing that really fit in the middle for Thanksgiving so I chose one of their butter dishes and I am painting it with Fall colored leaves for Thanksgiving dinner. It’s still a work in progress but I’m pretty excited about it!

That’s my weekend in pictures! I hope everyone has a wonderful week! Can you believe that Halloween is coming up next weekend? Where did this month go!?

  • Visiting from the link up! Looks like you had a busy & fun-filled weekend! I wish we had a fun pottery studio around here! We had one years ago and it was a popular spot for birthday parties but I’d love to go to one now and make something a little more adult!

    • Thanks for visiting! The same thing kind of happened around here, we had one pottery studio when I was a kid and it closed then we had nothing like it for many years and now this one’s popped up recently. So hopefully you get another one too! 🙂

    • We’ve had a lot of rough times this year, a bunch of games have been on Thursdays too! But tailgates are always fun no matter what the time!!
