Ringing in the New Year!

New Year's Eve 2016 (3)

This weekend was all about celebrating the start of 2016 and getting my life back in order to return to work after a busy Christmas week, an unexpected trip to NYC and partying on New Year’s Eve. After two weeks away from the office, half of me is ready to get back to some structure and routine but the other half is dreading going back to work. My sleep schedule is also way, way off so I will be having a love affair with the break room coffee machine this Monday morning. I’m sure I’m not the only one who will be having a hard time getting into the swing of things this week though so onto some New Year’s Eve party photos!

We celebrated NYE at a friends house and they had a New York City themed party complete with an Empire State Building and Ball Drop Cupcakes! It was so fun to relive being in the city especially since it was the first time we got to see all of our friends after getting engaged!

My favorite part was the confetti balloon bar – we all filled up balloons with different colored confetti and popped them at midnight!

It was such a great night to ring in the new year!

For me, the rest of the weekend entailed getting lots of rest and doing a ton of cleaning and organizing. I tried to catch up on blog stuff (I admit, it’s taken a back seat the last few weeks) and I made some progress but still have a lot to catch up on. I’m going to miss all of the fun that the holidays brought but I’m ready for a calmer month…

Happy first Monday of 2016!!
