An Awesome Birchbox Review

I didn’t get a chance to review my December Birchbox in December because things got too crazy but it was a great box with some products I fell in love with so I definitely wanted to share even if it is a little late!

Here’s the products that are MUST BUY’s:

Eyeko Fat Liquid Eyeliner

Eyeko Fat Liquid Eyeliner – $16

I’m obsessed with this eyeliner. First of all, the sample was the full size product which was a huge win! I normally am not coordinated enough for liquid eyeliner but the marker-like tip on this one makes it so much easier. My favorite part about this eyeliner is that it stays on without wearing off or smudging all day but then comes of so easy with makeup wipes. None of that fighting to get my eye makeup off at night. This is going to become a staple in my makeup bag for sure!

Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator

Vasanti BrigthenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator – $34

This exfoliater is magical. I loved the texture, it wasn’t too rough because the microderm crystals in it were very fine. It leaves my face feeling super soft and not irritated at all each time I use it. I’ve been using it 3 or 4 times a week after washing my face when I feel like my makeup has been on particularly long or my skin just needs a pick me up. I’m definitely seeing clearer, fresher skin since I’ve started using it. I also love the smell!

amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo

amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo – $22

I’ve tried a lot of dry shampoos and this may be the best one yet! It refreshes my hair with no white residue leftover and smells great. I felt like it kept my hair from being greasy way longer than other dry shampoos. I recommend trying it if you rely heavily on dry shampoo like me!

The other products in the box were good picks but missing that WOW factor:

Coastal Scents GlamourEYES palette

Coastal Scents styleEYES Palette – $12

I received this with two colors from the glamourEYES palette – green and gold. The colors were pretty and went on well…I wore the green on Christmas but it’s not a color I would wear all the time, the gold will probably get some good use. There was nothing wrong with these but I have a preference towards other eye shadow palettes.

Parlor by Jeff Chastain Touchable Curl Cream

PARLOR by Jeff Chastain Touchable Curl Cream – $24

I have crazy, frizzy hair naturally so there are few curly hair products that I actually get the job done for me. I really liked the texture of this curl cream, it was not heavy or sticky at all. It also didn’t give my hair that crunchy feeling that I hate. The only thing I didn’t like about it was that it didn’t define my curls as well as I would like.

This was my favorite Birchbox so far, I was really happy with the variety and quality of the products. I think Birchbox is upping their game with all of the subscription box competition out there and I’m excited to see what I get in 2016!

Have you tried any of these products?
