Well hello there! I took a little break from blogging over the last couple of weeks. I am having lots of anxiety this month and was just feeling uninspired. I never want this space to be something that I have to do or another task on my to-do list. I never plan on becoming a full-time blogger, not that I don’t think it’s an awesome career for those who quit their job to blog. I think that’s great! But for me this is an outlet and a hobby. And sometimes you need to take a little break from your creative hobbies to recharge and come back with a fresh mind.
Part of the reason I’ve had so much anxiety lately is because I’ve been craving some change. I’m the type of person who doesn’t do very well settling into the same routine long term. I like to mix it up every once in a while. So, I’m working on making some changes…more to come 🙂
As for now, I’m back to the blog world and I’ve missed it. I have a lot of catching up to do but in the mean time here’s a little recap from this weekend!
Friday night, I had a movie night with my mom. We’ve both read some of the Hannah Swensen Mystery Series and Hallmark started making movies based on the series. The latest one was the Peach Cobbler Mystery so we settled in for the night with some wine and homemade peach cobbler! It was the perfect, relaxing Friday night!
Saturday, I spent the day relaxing and cleaning and we had a birthday dinner for Jeff’s sister at night. We went to Thai Thani in Celebration. It was a lot of fun but the food/service was a little disappointing. I may not be the best judge because I’m not a huge fan of Thai food but I think there are much better restaurants in Celebration.
Sunday we spent most of the day with Jeff’s family. I ate way too much yummy Spanish food and sweets! I definitely need to hit the gym hard this weekend. We finished the weekend off with a the premiere of Fear the Walking Dead. In my opinion this show should just be called The Walking Dead: West Coast or something like that. I don’t watch The Walking Dead but Jeff is a big fan so I agreed to try FTWD because I thought it would be interesting to see more about what caused the Zombie Apocalypse and how the virus works and stuff. There were only like 2 episodes in season 1 that were pre zombies taking over and now it’s basically the exact same thing as The Walking Dead…is it just me who is bothered by this?
Okay, rant over…Happy Monday!
