10 Ways to get Outdoors in Orlando this Spring

I for one plan on getting out and enjoying some outdoor events before it gets way too hot in Florida to do anything outside. Here’s some great activities going on in Orlando over the next couple of months:

  • Movie in the Park at Leu Gardens – April 7, 8:30pm
    • Showing Star Trek Beyond
    • $6 per adult, $3 per child
    • Leu Gardens is beautiful and their movie nights are perfect for both date nights and family nights!
  • Walk for Life – April 8, 8am to 10:30am
    • Register as a sponsored walker or make a donation to join the walk
    • All proceeds benefit Orlando’s non-profit pregnancy clinic
  • Central Florida Earth Day – April 22, 10am to 6pm
    • Family-friendly, dog-friendly, vegan festival
    • Alcohol and smoke-free event
    • Free Admission
  • MovieEola – April 28, May 27
    • Activities start at 6pm, Movie starts around 8:15pm
    • Showing the Secret Life of Pets on April 28
    • Showing Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them on May 27 – don’t want to miss this one!
  • March for Babies at Lake Eola– April 29, 7am to 11am
    • March to help prevent premature births
    • Multiple registration levels, starting at $50
  • Dancing on the Drive – April 29, 6pm to 11pm
    • A giant dance floor, food trucks, vendors and a classic car show
    • Music from the 60’s through today
  • Blink 182 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds – May 4, 7:30pm
    • I’m really excited for this outdoor concert!
    • General Admission $40
  • Seven Seas Festival at SeaWorld – through May 13
    • Live entertainment, 60+ food options, 55+ craft brews
    • Park Admission required
  • I-Drive 360 Live – May 25, 6pm to 9:30pm
    • Live performances and vendors in the courtyard of the Orlando Eye
    • General admission is free, VIP tickets available
  • Epcot Flower & Garden Festival – through May 29
    • One of my favorite times of year to visit Epcot. Amazing works of art made from nature, food, rides, Disney magic and not too hot yet!
    • Requires park admission
