Now that Thanksgiving is over (that was quick) it’s full-fledged Christmastime!! My weekend will be filled with Hallmark movies and Christmas decorations! Thanks to the Festival of Trees I attended last weekend I have lots of inspiration for decorating. I’ve been super excited to link up with Momfessionals for this Show and Tell Tuesday since I put up my Christmas tree! I love decorating the house and coming home to the tree and decorations everyday in December. There isn’t another month in the year that I look forward to coming home so much. The Christmas lights, the sweet pine smell mixed with the scent from my cinnamon broom…it’s all so perfect! What a whirlwind of a week it’s been! Thanksgiving came and went so fast! I spent most of the week prepping and yesterday the day just flew by! But my hours of cooking were well worth it, we had so too much delicious food and we successfully hosted our first Thanksgiving without any major crises (there was a slight crockpot almost catching on fire incident, but what’s a holiday without a few mishaps, right?) I’m so thankful for all of our family and friends that came over and enjoyed the day with us! Pictures to come! Today, I’m taking a some well deserved relaxation time.
