Sometimes you just need one of those weekends that are the perfect balance of relaxation and productivity. If you’re like me, and most people I know, you get in the habit of cramming so many plans into the weekend that you’re exhausted come Monday morning, sitting at your desk on your third cup of coffee, wishing you took a little more me time on your “days off”. After our busy weekend last week at the Epcot Food & Wine Festival, I really needed to catch up on errands and house work and give myself a little break. Friday Night, I caught up on Fall TV. As soon as I got home from work it was sweatpants, bed and DVR time. Let me just say, I […]
I usually have a smoothie for breakfast but now that I’m officially obsessed with Fall I’ve been craving something more comforting in the mornings. So, this week I made these Pear-Apple Spiced Muffins. They’re a perfect snack for anytime in the day and they go great with a Pumpkin Spice Latte!
Loving all things Disney is sort of a requirement in my family. This past weekend we had a short staycation for the Epcot Food & Wine Festival. Even though I only live about 45 minutes away from the parks, I love taking a weekend here and there to stay on property and get the full Disney experience. I was really excited for this trip because a big group of my family was going and the Food & Wine Festival is one of my favorite events!

The leaves don’t change colors and it doesn’t get too much cooler but we do get a break from the 100 degree weather and I definitely participate in all things Fall! I love pumpkin spice EVERYTHING, dark nail polish and football! Not to mention, the Holidays are right around the corner and I can totally rock jeans, boots and scarves! Jeff and I have moved around this time every year for the past few years and this year we are finally staying in the same […]
I’m having a quarter-life crisis. I’m a little over a year out of college and not so sure I’m sold on being an adult. Why, you may ask? For starters, there’s that working nine to five everyday thing. There are definitely too few days in the weekend and too many in the week, am I right? And I don’t know about you but my job isn’t nearly as glamorous as I pictured it would be when I watched 13 Going on 30. Then there’s those pesky little things called bills. Responsibilities, ugh. Finally, there’s that question I feel like I keep asking myself: What’s next? Up until now, my life was full of little goals that I could actively work to accomplish every day. Study […]
