101 in 1001 Update #3

Time for a check in on my 101 in 1001 Bucket List! I’ve made some progress but there’s a few things I missed and a few things that have me saying “what was I thinking when I thought I could accomplish that?” (i.e. vegetarian for a month – sounded like a good idea at a time, but no interest right now). It’s funny to look at and think about how quickly your goals and wants can change in life. But for the most part I’m all in on these. There are a few categories I need to work harder on: Health and Finance especially. And there are a few things I just need to get better at tracking so I can cross them off. 23 […]

101 in 1001

I’ve been wanting to start a 101 in 1001 for a while now so when I saw that Macy was hosting this link-up I knew it was the perfect time to put my list together and get started! If you’re not familiar with 101 in 1001, it’s a hybrid of a to-do list and bucket list that you have about 2.75 years to complete. I can’t wait to start checking things off of mine!   Start Date – November 16th, 2015 End Date – August 13th, 2018   Travel: 1. Go on a cruise. 2. Travel out of the county via airplane. 3. Visit 5 US cities I’ve never been to before. (0/5) 4. Go on a ski/snowboarding trip. 5. Take a road trip. 6. […]

Travel Bucket List(s)

I have a serious case of Wanderlust. There is so much out there in this great, big world that I want to see and I’ve seen so little of it. Travelling is so exciting to me, whether it’s a weekend getaway or a longer trip. I get a rush from stepping on a plane and feeling like an adventure has just begun (once I get through that annoying security.) I think that my love of travel comes from the memories I have travelling with my grandparents when I was younger. Of all of the things I can remember about them, my trips with them stick out the most. We flew to Detroit many times where their families lived and it was so much fun to […]

Fall 2015 Bucket List

“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald It’s officially the first week of Fall! It’s my absolute favorite time of year! Living in Florida, we don’t get a true Fall season. The leaves don’t change colors and it doesn’t get too much cooler but we do get a break from the 100 degree weather and I definitely participate in all things Fall! I love pumpkin spice EVERYTHING, dark nail polish and football! Not to mention, the Holidays are right around the corner and I can totally rock jeans, boots and scarves! Jeff and I have moved around this time every year for the past few years and this year we are finally staying in the same […]
