Favorite App – Unroll Me OMG this app is a lifesaver if you find yourself ridiculously backlogged in personal emails as I do! It scans your email and allows you to unsubscribe from any you don’t want to keep all at once. It also lets you roll any of the subscriptions you do want into one “roll-up” email per day.  It will scan your email initially and then each day for any new subscriptions that come through. I unsubscribed from over 90 emails in just a few minutes! Favorite Finds This off the shoulder dress. These adorable suede wedges. This budget friendly scalloped tote bag. Friday Favorites: June 2017

Oh man, it has been a rough week. I had some dental work done on Monday and have been struggling ever since. Thankfully, the weekend is almost here and although it never seems to stay that way, I don’t have too much planned. I’m looking forward to some rest, just trying to stay positive and count my blessings. On that note, here’s some favorites from this month: 1. Father’s Day We had a simple yet very special Father’s Day this year. We started with breakfast out with Jeff’s grandfather and at night we had one big, blended family dinner at Chuy’s. We are so lucky to have three supportive dads to celebrate. 2. New Restaurants I have been all about trying new restaurants lately. I […]

Link Love 6.16.17

I finally caught up on TONS of blog reading this week, my Bloglovin’ feed is finally zeroed out woohoo! So, for Friday Favorites I’m sharing some posts I loved: Life Lessons We Learned from College Interns on Cupcakes and Cashmere – a great reminder to take chances, follow your passion and prioritize relationships. Audrey Hepburn’s Former Mansion is for sale according to Elle Decor and it’s magical. Especially the living room library. My future dream home… Burnout to Bliss: How to Organize Your Email from Bloggers Get Social – as terrifying as it sounds, I think I should declare email bankruptcy. I’ve never thought of it like that before but I have over 10,000 emails to clear out (crazy, I know) and the only way may […]

5 Origins Products You Need To Try

I’ve always viewed Origins in a positive light but hadn’t used too many of their products until I received these complimentary products from Influenster and Origins as part of the My Perfect World Launch campaign. After learning more about their naturally derived ingredients and trying these best sellers out for myself, I can see why they have earned such a great reputation. I would recommend any of these and have introduced them into my regular skin care routine! Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash Derived from Broad Leaf Kelp Extract, Wheat Protein and Tourmaline. The smell is light and refreshing, face feels squeaky clean after but not dried out. A little bit goes a long way in covering face in a thick, frothy layer which […]

Time for some Friday Favorites! One. Wine! Lent is over and I have my wine back 🙂 Two. These Pretty Little Liars Buzzfeed articles: The refresher I’m so glad my friend sent me before the premiere because I forgot everything and the recap (especially #13). The PLL final 10 episodes (Endgame) premiered this week and these articles seriously hit on every thought I had. I’m loving all the Spring blog posts. Especially these Spring crafts from WonderForest. I really want to try the dip dye placements! And I’m super inspired by pastel nails for […]

5 Books to Read this Spring

Here’s some of my favorite recent reads: The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George Received from Blogging for Books in exchange for my honest review. Loved, loved, loved this novel! It has it all: romance, friendship, dreamy destinations, beautiful insights into human emotions. It’s a wonderful read, especially for book lovers! I liked all  of the characters, and characters they were! They were eccentric but lovable, kind of like townies. The protoganist Perdu, runs a literary apothecary and believes in the healing power of books. Although he frustrated me sometimes being too dramatic, I enjoyed his journey to heal himself. We learn about his late lover through her memoirs and at first I didn’t like her at all but she did grow on me. Overall, […]

Ibotta App So, I’ve had this app on my phone forever but had only done one or two rebates until recently. I’ve started trying harder with coupons and saving money here and there and have gotten so many rebates in the past few weeks by checking the app before I go to the grocery store, it really is awesome! Corrine on The Women Tell All via GIPHY Although she is completely neurotic, she is the most entertaining thing to happen on The Bachelor. I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of her. And hey, I’m all for […]
