One of my favorite parts of living in Orlando is impromptu trips to the theme parks! When my friend asked me to go to Universal Studios this past weekend I quickly said YES because I hadn’t had a chance yet to go to the newest part of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley!
We started the day off in Universal Studios and made our way through the park hitting up Rip Ride Rock It, The Mummy, and Transformers – a few of my favorites. We stopped for lunch at Finnegan’s – a great place for lunch in the park. And for dessert – Dippin Dots! A must have at the theme parks!
Finally, we made it to Diagon Alley and I was so excited!
You really feel immersed in the books when you are in Diagon Alley – I was so impressed by all of the detail and how secluded it felt from the rest of the park! The gem, though, is Gringotts Bank. Although I was slightly disappointed in the actual ride, the building was beyond amazing!
I think I like Diagon Alley even more than Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure! Have you had a chance to visit? What did you think?
