21 Things Gilmore Girls Taught Me About Adulting

Gilmore Girls has to be one of my favorite shows of all time and if you haven t heard the news Netflix is reviving the series! I m ridiculously excited. Who doesn t wish they could be a little bit of both Lorelei and Rory or live in Stars Hallow? Seriously, my life goals.

I spent many hours watching that show (every single episode) and here s what I learned:

Sadly, Mondays are unavoidable.

And coworkers can be the worst

But that s what coffee is for!

And you should never, ever stop drinking it.

Junk food can be the best kind of therapy.

And it s okay to develop real feelings for your favorite TV shows.

Sleep is also very important.

Always appreciate your quirky best friend.

They keep things exciting!

Boys can be dumb.

Especially the cute ones.

And sometimes the tough guys are worth holding on to.

Even if they re not so good with the words and feelings and stuff.

Don t forget to be spontaneous every once in a while…

But don t go too far!

There is no such thing as being too dramatic…

Well, almost.

Always remember your strengths.

Because you can never be too confident.

But no matter how old you get, sometimes you just need your mommy.

Even if it is only for comic relief.

Is anyone else as excited as I am for this show to come back?? What s your favorite Gilmore Girls moments?
