soaking up the florida sunshine

I have been doing a great job lately with not cramming so much into the weekends and taking the time to relax and unwind from the hectic work week. This is a huge deal for me because I have always been the type of person to go go go and plan something for every spare minute I have!

On Saturday, we had absolutely beautiful weather: mid-seventies, sunny and breezy. So, Jeff and I took advantage of it and went out to the beach for a relaxing morning.

We have lots of nearby beaches but we chose to go to Jetty Park this time. Jetty Park is a great spot because they have parking, a pier to fish off of and watch the cruise ships go by, beach access and campground. Plus they have a building with bathrooms, food and a bait shop.

We spent most of the morning sitting on the pier while the hubby fished and I read. Then I layed out on the beach for a while and we headed home in the afternoon. It was so relaxing, I could do this every weekend!

The rest of the Saturday was spent on a pedicure and binge watching Big Little Lies (not sure how I feel about this show yet). Sunday was an all day cleaning sesh after church, I managed to finally get the kitchen organized and all of our wedding gifts put away – woop woop! Starting of this week feeling refreshed and organized! Hopefully it lasts, Happy Monday!
