Now that Thanksgiving is over (that was quick) it’s full-fledged Christmastime!! My weekend will be filled with Hallmark movies and Christmas decorations! Thanks to the Festival of Trees I attended last weekend I have lots of inspiration for decorating. Some gorgeous wreaths: Christmas trees of all themes – from classic to avengers to my personal favorite, a baking tree: Are you decorating this weekend??
I had the best Christmas weekend I could ever ask for! Not only did I have an amazing day with my family, I was whisked off to NYC the day after Christmas for a romantic trip that was a dream come true! Here’s a Christmas Recap in pictures! I can’t believe I’m heading home with the love of my life as my handsome fiancé now! I couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas gift or proposal. All the love I’ve felt this Christmas has made me feel blessed beyond words and I’m so thankful for the amazing man in my life! More NYC and engagement pictures to come once I get home but I couldn’t wait to share!
A clone machine. I can be a people-pleaser. And I have a slight case of FOMO. This can cause me to want to spend all the time with all the people, especially around the holidays. Sadly, I cannot be in two places at once. Even though, I really, really want to. Jeff and I are blessed with two big, amazing, loving families. Both of which live close by, at least close enough where we don’t travel far for holidays. We split time. It’s wonderful and exhausting at the same time. I think one of the most difficult challenges we’ve faced in our relationship is balancing time with family for the holidays. This will be our 5th Christmas together, going to 3 houses on Christmas Day and it […]
Christmas is almost here and I’m so excited! Only a few days left, especially since all the festivities start on Christmas Eve so it’s kind of like a two-day holiday. I can’t wait to make great memories with family, eat a ton of delicious food and see everyone open their presents! I get so thrilled to see people open the presents I got them, I actually have the hardest time waiting for Christmas, I got Jeff’s present early this year and it’s taken everything I have not to give it to him or tell him about it! Christmas isn’t all about the presents but I love showing people how much I care about them, sometimes someone deserves a little spoiling once in a while and […]
Oh Monday! How it always comes too quick! At least this is the last full week of work before Christmas 🙂 Hopefully that gets us all through the week! This weekend was HOT here in Florida, but I still had some winter fun! The weekend started for me on Thursday night and Jeff took me on a special Christmas date night! One of my favorite winter activities is to go Celebration, which turns into the cutest Christmas town for the holidays. It’s fully decorated with Christmas lights, there’s all kinds of cute little shops, a bunch of really good restaurants and it’s the only place I know of that you can get snowed on in Florida. It makes for a romantic and magical date night. […]
It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with Christmas movies. I watch one pretty much every day in December and as many as I can fit in on the weekends. The cheesy TV Christmas movies are my favorites so I pretty much just keep my TV on the Hallmark Channel or ABC Family at all times. You should really watch them all of them but if I had to pick, here are the 7 TV movies you have to watch this year to get you in the holiday spirit! Once Upon A Holiday on The Hallmark Channel A disgruntled princess (Briana Evigan) breaks free from her royal duties in New York City – because NYC is the capital of Christmas movies – where she meets a […]
Christmas is a magical time. There’s just an excitement and happiness in the air that I don’t feel the rest of the year. The decorations around the house and stores and office give me all the warm and fuzzies and I can’t get enough of it. It’s the time to cherish loved ones, appreciate coworkers and take in children’s excited faces as they meet Santa or open presents. The best part is, pretty much everyone is in a cheerful mood. But then there’s those people…you know the ones. The ones who can’t handle the crowds and stress that come along with the Holidays so they turn into raging monsters. The Grinches if you will. Example: Last Friday night, I’m gleefully listening to Christmas music and […]
I’ve been super excited to link up with Momfessionals for this Show and Tell Tuesday since I put up my Christmas tree! I love decorating the house and coming home to the tree and decorations everyday in December. There isn’t another month in the year that I look forward to coming home so much. The Christmas lights, the sweet pine smell mixed with the scent from my cinnamon broom…it’s all so perfect! I’m so happy to share some of the decorations around my cozy little home and see everyone else’s! So let’s get to it! The main event, the Christmas Tree: Part of the reason I love my Christmas decorations so much are because a lot of them have been handed down or given to […]
The first weekend of December has came and went already…it was way too short! But full of fun! Friday night, I met some girlfriends for dinner and drinks at Bonefish Grill. I was a bad blogger and didn’t take any pictures but it was delicious as always, especially my favorite: the Bang Bang Shrimp. Saturday was the party that we look forward to all year long. Jeff’s Mom always kicks of the season with an awesome Christmas party and this year was no disappointment! We had a great time and took our annual photos in front of the tree. Sunday was mostly a recovery day. My sister Abby came over (who as you can see above is looking more and like a teenager everyday it’s […]
