Weekending: A Quiet One

Happy Monday! After all the long weekends and time off I ve had the past few months this past weekend felt incredibly short! I swear, it went by in the blink off an eye! I was a bad blogger this weekend and didn t take any pictures. I took a lot of snaps (follow me: jackattack1886 ) but I m in the bad habit of not downloading them…

Part of the reason I have no photos is because it was a pretty quiet and laid back weekend. I felt like I needed it though, I think I m still recovering from the craziness that occurs Fall through the holidays.

Friday night was the highlight of my weekend, Jeff and I had dinner with my parents at one of my favorite restaurants, we got uncharacteristically bad service which was disappointing but it was still fun to spend time with family. Afterwards, we went out for drinks downtown with a good friend who was in town and I realized how long it has been since I ve been out downtown – I m getting old!

Saturday, I lounged around most of the day and then had dinner at a friends house with a classic chick flick: Bridget Jones Diary!

Sunday, I was lazy in the morning (again) but ended the weekend on a productive note. I went for a run, practiced yoga, went on a Target trip and got ready for the week ahead.

Like I said, it was a quick and quiet weekend! Since I don t have much to share, I thought I d leave you with some Monday Motivation:

Hope that you tackle everything you need to this week! Have a great one!
