What s on the Thanksgiving Menu

Holy Turkey! Thanksgiving is a week away! I m so so excited to be hosting Thanksgiving this year but I m also nervous and just hoping and praying that we have enough food and that everyone has a really good time. Deciding on the menu was a big de-stresser. I m doing a mix of the classics and throwing in some fancy pants dishes here and there. Here s what I have planned:

The Teasers

Decorative Fruit & Veggie Trays – Looks so easy and super cute!
Italian Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms – One of my favorite appetizers!
Cranberry Baked Brie – Served with crackers, an upgrade from the traditional cheese and cracker plate.
Deviled Eggs
Little Smokies

The Main Event

Turkey – Grilled, to save room in the oven.
Slow Cooker Stuffing
Mashed Potatoes – With gravy, of course.
Green Bean Casserole
Sweet Potato Casserole
Slow Cooker Spiced Cranberry Chutney – This is seriously the best cranberry sauce recipe! I made it last year and it was a huge hit!
Honey Maple Roasted Carrots
Balsamic Roasted Brussel Sprouts
Waldorf Salad – I m going to try this one made with Greek yogurt instead of mayo.
Butter Rolls

Are you drooling yet?

Sweet Stuff

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake – I make this every year and it s always a favorite, this year I m going to try it as cheesecake bars.
Carrot Cake Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting
Apple Layer Cake with Chai Spiced Buttercream – I ve been dying to try this since I saw it posted a few weeks ago!

We will also have the classics: Pumpkin, Pecan and Apple pies. You can never have too much desert on a holiday, right?

Copycat Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice
Drunken Pumpkin Lattes – An alcoholic PSL…sign me up!
Honeycrisp Apple Sangria

That should cover it! I m ready to get cooking and eat all of this amazingness!

Did I miss anything? What s on your Thanksgiving Day menu?
